My Double Top guitars are built around the Grand Concert model. While possesing the apperance of a traditional guitar, the top is a state of the art nomex honeycomb top consisting of a sandwhich of very thin spruce tops with a honeycomb filling. The photo at the left is a top under construction, prior to being closed up with the second top, or skin.
